All original, numbers matching, non-rebuilt 428 PI engine, Holley BJ/BK carburetors, top loader, 4-speed transmission, original interior and completely straight, non-damaged sheet metal with original factory production line paint finish.

To preserve original 428 PI engine, this car was at one time fitted with a Nascar tunnel port 427 for SAAC convention where it participated in the high speed track event.

The original 428 PI engine rebuilt with roller cam shaft was reinstalled by Shelby American, Las Vegas, Nevada. Complete with Shelby American specification multi-angle valve job, bronze guide clearance, dual valve springs, titanium valve keepers and Carroll Shelby "Signature Series" 427 stamped roller rocker assemblies. All interior and exterior metal chrome received "Show Quality" replating. Recent "nuts and bolts" concours rotisserie restoration down to original brake master cylinder Kelsey Hayes N.O.S. brake pads, expert black paint application, and much more. Documented with Shelby American Automobile Club Registrar for nearly 30 years. Many extras come with this sale (even car's original owner's manual and positive battery lead for example).
