The United States is not the only place where the Ford F-Series has been a regular best-seller year after year. By beating out other competition, our neighbors to the north in Canada have made the F-Series the best-selling pickup truck in Canada for a record 43 consecutive years.
The F-Series were not the only Ford vehicles that made their presence felt in the Canadian market. Sales of Ford crossover SUVs rose 14% compared with 2007 sales figures, and sales of the Ford Escape, Ford Edge, and Ford Ranger all increased compared with 2007. For 2008, truck sales tallied a total of 159,887 units, down 4.9% compared with the previous year.
